Every story has a beginning.

Ours started with a four-year-old boy and a red RC car.

David sat at the edge of the track, watching his brother race, wanting nothing more than to drive himself. His father, Herwart Reip, was there — as always. Two years later, David held his first transmitter and began racing competitively. By the age of thirteen, he had become a multiple national champion in the entry-level classes.

As his passion grew, so did his ambitions. Two Dutch friends recognized his talent and invited him to compete with them in higher-level touring car races in Augsburg and Vienna. They provided competitive equipment, technical knowledge, and constant encouragement. What had started as a childhood fascination became a lifelong passion.

Father and son travelled together to race meetings across Europe, always searching for the perfect setup, the best components, and the smallest advantage on the track.

Then everything changed. A German friend invited David to join the RC MAKER team.

On the other side of the world, Ryan Maker had created something different. Through his brands, RC MAKER and INOV8, he had developed products distinguished by precision, innovation, and performance.

David experienced that difference the very first time he drove the RC MAKER SP1 equipped with INOV8 components. He felt it immediately. He saw it in the lap times. He knew this was something special.

When David and Herwart met Ryan Maker in Apeldoorn, what started as a conversation grew into a close partnership. Built on mutual trust and a shared passion for RC racing, that partnership gradually evolved into a shared vision for Europe.

RC MAKER and INOV8 products were already well represented in Germany through our trusted partner Tonisport and were also available from selected retailers across Europe. However, each dealer had to import products directly from Australia, making customs clearance, logistics, and inventory planning unnecessarily complex and time-consuming.

Ryan Maker recognized the opportunity to simplify these processes through a dedicated European import and distribution partner. A centralized European hub would streamline imports, manage customs clearance, improve product availability across the continent, and significantly reduce the logistical and administrative workload at the Australian headquarters — while strengthening the network of authorized dealers throughout Europe.

That was the moment two RC enthusiasts became two entrepreneurs.

With a shared vision and a common commitment to excellence, father and son founded Reip Racing.

Their mission was clear: to become the exclusive European import and distribution partner for RC MAKER and INOV8.

Today, Reip Racing serves as the exclusive European importer and distribution partner for both brands. Working closely with Ryan Maker and our network of authorized dealers, we centralize imports into Europe, manage customs clearance, and ensure efficient distribution across the continent. This enables our dealer partners to focus on what they do best — serve racers — while we provide reliable product availability and streamlined logistics.

We are racers ourselves. We know what it means to wait for a critical spare part before a race weekend. We understand that quality, reliability, and trust are earned at the track — not in a catalogue. That is why we bring the products we believe in to dealers and racers throughout Europe.
