The lightest and sharpest SP2.

Eighteen months of development went into the SP2. The DNA of the SP1 stayed, everything around it was re-engineered. This is the carbon specification: a 2.2 mm plate weighing around 63 g, supplied with brass front and rear centre weights so you can bring the car up to weight exactly where you want it.

All three chassis variants share the same 110° steel screws, so swapping between them is a straight exchange and your spares box stays simple.

Suspension

• XS shocks and springs for reduced unsprung weight and faster handling response
• Coaxial shock and pushrod geometry — smoother action, less play, lower moment of inertia
• Shock body fixed to the bulkhead for reduced friction and unsprung weight
• 3 mm longer suspension arms with 6 mm closer mounting for improved corner speed
• Adjustable rocker height via slider for quick, precise fine-tuning
• Steel pushrod components in place of ball cups — less wear, weight and friction
• Delrin plastics and polished steel ball studs throughout

Sway bars

• Ultra lightweight, ball-raced and adjustable from above
• Lowest possible centre of gravity with minimal component count
• Compatible with 1.0–1.3 mm bars, front and rear parts fully interchangeable

Hubs, steering & ARS

• Lowered axle height for a wider height tuning window
• Oversized 6×11×4 mm inner bearing for durability and reduced play
• Optimised scrub radius for a more aggressive steering response
• 8.0 mm steering rack with optional lock stoppers, lengthened rear toe link
• Low-CG one-piece servo mount with enlarged locating pins
• Direct mounting for analogue and digital caster tools, integrated aero disc option

Bulkheads, motor mount & top deck

• 4 mm raised top deck mounting for more rigid, progressive chassis flex
• Raised diff and spool position for corner speed and driveability
• FL/RR and FR/RL bulkheads interchangeable to reduce the spares you carry
• Motor raised 0.5 mm for more material under the motor pocket
• Screw-in steel layshaft, laser-etched belt tension positions
• Adjustable front and rear belt tensioners included, optional centre tensioner for Modified
• Cuttable top deck tabs for fine-tuning flex

Drivetrain

• Threaded aluminium diff halves with optimised gear spacing
• Larger driveshaft bearings without couplers — less friction and wear
• Lightweight hardened outdrives and driveshaft components
• Larger centre pulley bearings for rigidity under high load

Bumper, body mounts & hardware

• Low-CG front bumper assembly with stoppers integrated into the front bulkhead
• Carbon bumper mount with a pocket for the INOV8 Adjustable Hood Support
• Split-style rear body mount for lower moment of inertia and adjustable bulkhead flex
• Nickel-plated YFS screws on top of the car, steel 110° countersunk chassis screws with 2 mm hex
